Time is ticking away to the 2 May deadline for entries to the Natural Stone Awards.
Run by Stone Federation Great Britain, there is already an unprecedented number of entries at this stage and a fantastic selection of projects across all the categories. But competition for these prestigeous Awards is always fierce, which is what makes winning such an honour.
The competition is judged by a panel of internationally acclaimed architects advised on the stonework by a Master Mason from Stone Federation. Initial assessment of the projects is based on the entry forms and photographs, from which a short-list is produced and the projects visited.
After all the deliberations, the winners will be announced at a glittering Awards lunch at Hotel Russell in Russell Square, London, on 5 December.
If you really want to raise the profile of your work in stone, there is no better way than with the Natural Stone Awards – and entry is open to any member of the team, including the client, architect or designer, main contractor, specialist stone contractors, stone suppliers, or anyone else involved in the project.
If you have worked on a stone project that you feel is better than any other stone project of the past two years, make sure it receives the recognition it deserves from the most critical eyes in the architectural community and the stone industry.
The Natural Stone Awards provide an incredible opportunity to gain widespread exposure and industry recognition for the work your company does.
The awards are split into five categories:
- New Build (modern style stone cladding and traditional style stone masonry)
- Repair & Restoration
- Interiors
- Landscaping
- Craftsmanship
